(CRT), a work to which establishments have joined not only at the national level but also at the international level, so through the T Distinction certification mark the CRT recognizes all those consumer centers that, after a certification process and training demonstrate the quality of their services regarding Tequila.
At the Casa de México Foundation in Madrid, Spain, led by Director Ximena Caraza and chaired by Don Valentín Diez Morodo, four establishments – “Las Mañanitas,” “Mexcalista,” “Marrufo,” and the mezcaloteca “Corazón Agavero” – received the T Distinction. “By awarding the T Distinction, we celebrate their dedication to ensuring that the Tequila served at their establishments is a certified, authentic product that fully complies with the Official Tequila Standard. This recognition goes beyond a seal of quality. Through the CRT’s training program, their staff has gained a deep and objective understanding of the Tequila Appellation of Origin, encompassing its regulations, history, and the rich cultural heritage surrounding this emblematic Mexican product,” stated Miguel Ángel Domínguez Morales, President of the CRT.
