Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT)

Founded on May 17, 1994, the Tequila Regulatory Council is a non-profit civil organization that unites all actors in the Agave-Tequila supply chain, including agave producers, tequila producers, bottlers, distributors, traders, and government entities.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Inspect, analyze and certify compliance with the Official Mexican Standard for Tequila.

Safeguard the Appellation of Origin of Tequila in Mexico and abroad.

Ensure Tequila authenticity for consumers.

Provide timely, reliable, and useful information for the Agave-Tequila production chain.
